Emslie is the second generation of the Collier family to run the business. James D. Collier (Emslie’s father) previously served the local area as a joiner and funeral director, conducting services around Montrose, Inverbervie, Laurencekirk and Stonehaven. Emslie established the business in Montrose in 1991 and went on to complete a diploma in Funeral Directing from the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).

James is the third generation of the Collier family to be involved with the business. James started working full time in 2010 following 4 years studying at Abertay University. Having completed the diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration from the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD). With this he now possess a high degree of knowledge and experience covering all aspects of the role.
Carly West
Carly West
Carly has helped move the business forward with her progressive working practices. She now takes care of all the Administration needs involved with the day to day running of the business.  As well as being trained to assist with family arrangements.
Carly’s years of experience, attention to detail and her customer care skills are paramount to the business.
Craig Moir
Craig Moir
Craig is a trained Funeral Director, well used to working in a caring environment. Craig has used his empathetic approach to obtain a high level of respect. Craig’s attention to detail and dedicated care is well known throughout the community.
He has a deep respect for the traditions of the funeral sector, with the emphasis on personal service, and local knowledge.
